Welcome to Out Standing in the Field.  We are so very glad you have come by for a visit. We are a 5-generation family farm. With 5 generations on the same homestead, there are different interests, points of view, and ways of doing things. You will find several different themes here: farming, gardening, animals, nature, hobbies, and more. Some things will be eclectic, some eccentric, and some a bit kooky, but it should be fun. 

Currently, we have posts for homesteading, self-sufficient lifestyles, and emergency/disaster prep.  We would be happy for you to check out any or all of our talks that are of interest to you.
